2. floating villages

The floating villages of Kompong Phluk and Kampong Khleang in Siem Reap are unique places to experience the traditional way of life of the locals on the water. These villages are located on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater body of water in Southeast Asia. Here, houses, schools, shops and even restaurants are built on floating platforms and offer an impressive sight. You can take a boat tour to explore the villages, learn about the lives of the locals and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings. The floating villages are not only an opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of Cambodia, but also a chance to understand how the water affects the lives of the people who live on its surface.

You can discuss your tour to and from the floating villages and any activities you wish to do with me in advance. Together we will put together an experience that you will never forget. I will take care of everything for you, from travelling to and from the floating villages to sightseeing, catering and opportunities to meet the locals.
